History
LP Interior Resources (previously known as LPE Interior Gallery), a proud member of the esteemed Lian Ping Group, stands as a trailblazer in Malaysia's interior renovation and furniture manufacturing industry. With a rich legacy dating back to 1961, when Mr. Tay Teck Sim laid its foundation. With over half a century of industry expertise, LP Interior Resources continues to lead the way in every aspect of its field.
Mr. Tay began his journey as a self-taught carpenter before venturing to Malaysia at the age of 21 to pursue his passion as a furniture maker and interior renovation sub-contractor. Rising quickly in skill and ambition, he established Lian Ping Enterprise just a few years later, achieving his goal of creating his own interior renovation company, with it’s own thriving manufacturing factory. This achievement put him at the forefront of a then budding local industry, leaving a lasting impact in Malaysia that can still be felt today.
Achievements
The company's first major project was the renovation of the Hilton Hotel in 1972, which propelled it to become a world-class interior renovator and furniture manufacturer in Malaysia. Since then, its remarkable success and proven track record have led to an esteemed clientele which includes the likes of Shangri-La, J.W Marriot, Berjaya Group, and many more.
The company’s long-standing reputation and expertise in all things interior is backed by prestigious projects all around the globe. With widespread specialization in hotels, service apartments, condominiums, restaurants, corporate offices, retail shops, and show unit galleries, LP Interior Resources continues to excel at every level on the international stage.

Designed as a One-Stop Interior Furnishing Provider, the gallery proudly showcases an extensive range of the company’s own products, as well as those from various local and overseas manufacturers. Curated especially to offer impeccable interior design solutions at every level, while providing a personal bespoke level of service that caters to all designers, consultants and contractors.
